How to run a quick poll
Don't have the app yet? Add 123 Polls & Surveys to Microsoft Teams. Already have it? Open it in Teams.
A quick poll is one question with answer choices, made and run from a single screen. It's the fastest way to get a decision or a show of hands in a Teams meeting.
Run a quick poll in a meeting
- Open 123 Polls & Surveys in your meeting's side panel. (Add it to the meeting if it isn't there.)
- Click Quick poll.
- Type your Question and fill in the Answer options. Click Add option for another one.
- Optional: open Privacy and results to change:
- Who can see names? Anonymous, organizers and presenters (the default), or everyone.
- When participants see results. Live, after they answer, when you reveal them, after the poll closes, or never.
- Allow answers outside Teams, for a link and QR code.
- Click Run in this meeting. Or click Save for later to keep it as a draft.
If something's missing, the app says what and puts your cursor where the fix goes.

In a chat or channel
Quick polls work outside meetings too. See How to create a poll in a Teams chat or channel.
