"You don't have permission to manage this poll" and other sign-in problems
Don't have the app yet? Add 123 Polls & Surveys to Microsoft Teams. Already have it? Open it in Teams.
123 Polls & Surveys checks your role in the meeting each time you try to manage a poll. Most permission messages mean Teams says you aren't the poll's owner, an organizer, or someone given control. Your answers and drafts are safe either way.
"You don't have permission to manage this poll"
You opened Manage poll on someone else's poll. You can still answer it below the message. To run or change it, ask the person who created it to add you as a collaborator or pass you the controls.
"Open this poll from its original Teams meeting"
Polls belong to the meeting they were made in. Open that meeting in Teams and use its 123 Polls & Surveys tab. Finished results are also in your Poll library and in Poll history.
I can't create polls in this meeting
Only the organizer, and the organizer or presenter who first opened the app in the meeting, can create polls there. Ask one of them to make you a collaborator, or to open the app first.
The app won't sign in
Teams signs you in to 123 Polls & Surveys automatically. If it keeps failing:
- Close the side panel or tab and open it again.
- Make sure you're signed in to Teams with your work or school account.
- On Teams for the web, allow pop-ups and third-party cookies for Teams.
- If Teams says your organization needs to approve the app, ask your Teams admin.
"We couldn't do that"
A short connection problem with Teams. Wait a moment and try again. If the message shows a Support code, include it when you contact us.
