Where does 123 Polls & Surveys work?
Don't have the app yet? Add 123 Polls & Surveys to Microsoft Teams. Already have it? Open it in Teams.
123 Polls & Surveys works in private scheduled Teams meetings and, for quick polls, in group chats, standard channels and shared channels. It doesn't support webinars, town halls, channel meetings, instant calls or private channels yet.
Supported
| Where | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Private scheduled meetings | Everything: quick polls, surveys, quizzes, the side panel, the meeting tab, the meeting screen, meeting chat cards, and a link and QR code |
| Group chats | Quick polls from Actions and apps or the bot's Create poll command |
| Standard and shared channels | Quick polls the same way, if your organization allows the app there |
| Your Poll library | Build, import and save polls outside any meeting |
| Outside Teams | People can answer from a browser with the link or QR code, when you turn it on |
Not supported yet
- Webinars and town halls
- Channel meetings (meetings started from a channel)
- Instant "Meet now" calls
- Private channels
- Government clouds (GCC High and DoD)
If you open the app somewhere it can't run, it tells you and suggests what to do instead.
Desktop, web and mobile
Organizers usually run polls from Teams on desktop or the web. People can answer on Teams for desktop, web, iPhone, iPad and Android, and from any browser with the link. On mobile the app hides plan and upgrade options.
Recordings
Teams doesn't promise to capture app content in a meeting recording, so don't rely on the recording to keep your results. Download them instead: see How to download poll results.
